Predznaci Sudnjeg Dana 4-dio II

pojava raznovrsnih iskušenja i nereda

Imam Buhari i Muslim.

Imam Muslim.

Prevalence of turmoil and affliction

Imam Sedin Agic The test will be applied in all kinds of circumstances, in individual life and in relation to the environment around us, to see whether we can strive constantly and put Allah above self. There will be FITAN during which a siting person will be better than a standing one… Abu Hurairah narrated, Allah’s Messenger said: There will be Fitan (trials and afflictions) during which a sitting person will be better than standing one, and the standing one will be better than a walking one, and the walking one will be better than a running one, and whoever will expose himself to these Fitan, they will destroy him, so whoever can find a place of protection or refuge from them should take shelter in it. Imam Buhari.

Prophet a,s, has already explained us all kind of trials and afflictions, in order to take precautionary adequate steps in life of every believer. It has been narrated on authority of Huthaifa bin Yaman r,a, who said: People used to ask the Messenger of Allah about the good times, but I used to ask him about bad times fearing lest they overtake me.

I said: Messenger of Allah, we were in the midst of ignorance and evil, and then God brought us this good (time through Islam). Is there any bad time after this one? He said: Yes. I asked: will there be a good time again after that bad time? He said: Yes, but therein will be a hidden evil.

I asked: what will be the evil hidden therein? He said: (that time will witness rise of) the people who will adopt ways other than mine and seek guidance other than mine. You will know good points as well as bad points.

I asked: will there be a bad time after this good one? He said: Yes, (a time will come) when there will be people standing and inviting at the gates of Hell. Whosoever responds to their call they will throw them into the fire.

I said: Messenger of Allah, describe them for us, he said: All right: they will be people having the same complexion as ours and speaking our language. I said: Messenger of Allah, what do you suggest if I happen to live in that time? He said: you should stick to the main body of Muslims and their leader, I said: if they have no (such things as the) main body and have no leader? He said: separate yourself from all these factions, though you may have to eat the roots of trees (in a jungle) until death come to you and you are in this state. Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim.

Allah’s Messenger did not leave anything unsaid that he had to say which would happen in the shape of turmoil up to the Last Hour. After his clear warning of all kinds of forthcoming turmoil and affliction and obvious glad tidings of successful salvation to overcome from them, the Messenger of Allah has classified them with some of them violent and some of them comparatively mild.

Hathaufah ibn Yaman r,a, narrated: By Allah, I have the best knowledge amongst people about period between me and  the Last Hour. And it is not that Allah’s Messenger told me something confidentially pertaining to it and he did not tell anybody else about it, but that I was present in the assembly in which he had been describing the turmoil, and he mentioned three: Turmoil which would not spare anything and amongst these three there would be turmoil like storms in the hot season. Some of them would be violent and some of them would be comparatively mild. Huthaifa said: All (who were present) except I have gone (to the next world). Imam Muslim.

In hadith of Abu Hurairah r,a, that the Prophet said: Be prompt in doing good deeds (before you are overtaken) by turmoil which would be like a part of the dark night. This hadith explains that there would be no stability in the faith of man. Faith would become cheaper as compared to the material benefits and would be freely bartered for worldly gains.

It means that people will survive with evil hearts and will remain united externally but not internally. They will be evil and disunited at their hearts. They will expose themselves as good and united superficially, but externally they will not be so, indicating a truce, which is liable to be broken at any time.

The prophet a,s, indicating the turmoil would come like rain fall which will enter into each and every residence. According to Imam Nawai: this simile of the rainfall has been used to convey the widespread general massacre and scenes of active hostilities amongst Muslims.

Usama ibn Zaid r,a, reported that the Messenger of Allah  stood over one of the high building of Medina and then said: Do you see what I see? They said No, I see affliction falling among your houses as raindrops fall. Imam Muslim.
