Blagoslovljeni mjesec vam je došao!

Ramazad 2-dio

Oni će ustati, i niko neće moći ući kroz ta varata sem postača.

There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month

O Servants of Allah, I urge you and myself to be mindful of Allah the Almighty and obey Him, in light of what He says, “and fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah. Then every soul will be compensated for what it earned, and they will not be treated unjustly.” (Al Baqara: 281). He the Almighty also says, “so give good tidings to My servants who listen to speech and follow the best of it.” (Azzumar: 17-18).

Dear Muslims Allah’s blessings are unfolding, bringing to His servants mercy and generous occasions, He the Sublime has urged us to seize these opportunities by engaging in good deeds that lead us to Paradise as He says, “Race toward forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden whose width is like the width of the heavens and earth, prepared for those who believed in Allah and His messengers.” (Al Hadid: 21). And in surah Ali Imran 133 Allah said: And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous.

The month of Ramadan is one of the greatest occasions of goodness, a month that Allah has favoured over others and when He ordered fasting. He the Almighty says, “O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous.” (Al Baqara: 183).

As it came, we are welcoming its advent and looking forward to harvesting its benefits, increasing prayers and receiving as much reward as possible. The Messenger of Allah said, “Allah says, ‘every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting; it is for me and I shall reward for it. Fasting is a shield. If any one of you is fasting, let him no utter obscene talk or raise his voice in anger, and if anyone insults him or wants to fight, let him say: I am fasting.

By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better before Allah than the fragrance of musk. The fasting person has two moments of joy: when he breaks his fast he rejoices at breaking his fast and when he meets his Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, he will rejoice at having fasted’.”

How can we not rejoice fasting while Allah the most Compassionate has made for us a gate to Paradise, exclusively reserved for those who observe fast for the sake of Allah and stay away from all that may invalidate it?

Our Master Muhammad pbuh said, “There is a gate in Paradise called Arraiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, ‘where are those who used to observe fasts?’ They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it.”

In the month of Ramadan we should increase goodness and getting closer to Allah through acts of obedience. So anyone who is sincere in his fasting, Allah will forgive his previous sins, for our Prophet pbuh said, “whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven.”

Abu Hurayra narrated that the Messenger of Allah pbuh climbed the minbar (pulpit) and said: “Amen [O Allah grant it], Amen, Amen”. So it was said, “O Messenger of Allah, you climbed upon the minbar and said, ‘Amen, Amen, Amen?’ So he said, “Jibreel came to me and said, ‘whoever reaches the month of Ramadan and does not have [his sins] forgiven and so enters Fire, then may Allah distance him, say Amen.” So I said, “Amen…”
