Rammazan 4-dio Hutba (26-Juli-2013 \ 18-Ramazan-1434)

Ramazan mjsec strpljenja

Ramazan 4 dio

Odricanje i suzdržavanje zahtjeva jaku volju i jaku želju samo-kontrole, samo-discipline i samo-uzdržanosti.

 Ramadan the month of patience

Our beloved Prophet informed us that the month of Ramadan has many benefits and blessings; among others it is the month of: Mercy, Guidance, Revelation of the Qur’an, Peace, Happiness, Rejoice, Forgiveness, Repentance, Patience and many more. Salman Al-Farisi narrated that the Messenger of Allah gave us a sermon in the last day of Sha’ban: O people! A great and a blessed month is approaching, and it is the month of patience and perseverance, and the reward of patience is paradise.

The idea of patience is mentioned in the Qur’an 103 times in 25 forms and 64 surah. Because of its importance, it has been mentioned many times in the Qur’an. For those who are patient during Ramadan will be rewarded the maximum reward, a person will be given paradise as a gift and as his merit of award.

A person who is ready to be patient not to eat while he is hungry, not to drink while hi is thirsty, not to quench his thirst even with a sip of water, and not to lean to his lusts, such a person is noble individual. If that person is doing these with faith and obedience to Allah, he deserves to be rewarded by Allah. Allah said in surah Al-Zumar 10: Those who patiently persevere will truly receive a reward without measure.

The Messenger of Allah informed us that whosoever fasts Ramadan with conviction (iman) and expectation (ihtisab) his reward is forgiveness. Abu Huraira r,a, narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: Whosoever fasts Ramadan with conviction and expectation, his previous mistakes will be forgiven. (B-M)

The concept of training oneself by himself without outside supervision is a noble act, to train yourself to abstain from the essentials of life is not an easy act. It needs a strong personality to dictate self-control, self-discipline and self-restraint.

A person, who can restrain himself from the essentials of life for sometimes, and for the love of Allah, deserves a reward from Allah. Abu Hurairah narrated the Messenger of Allah said: The fasting person leaves his food, his beverage, and his lusts, for My sake. Fasting is for Me, and I am the One to reward. A good thing is to be rewarded ten times.

The best gift of qualities that person can acquire in his life is that of patience. Abu Saeed Al-Khudri narrated that the Prophet said: Whoever tries to have patience, Allah will give him patience. There is nothing better and bountier than patience. (B-M)

During the fasting month of Ramadan, Muslims are taught to control their emotions and have patience. Even if somebody tries to intimidate them, to aggravate or insult them, they are to control their egos, and to behave normal.
